I met Jim at CSC in 1998, actually he was the very person who interviewed me. That was the beginning of a long and happy friendship. I learned so much from Jim. He was very knowledgeable and extremely supportive. Our frequent coffees and lunches at work were always enjoyable as Jim was such a good conversationalist, and had great sense of humour. How Jim loved the horse races, and how we had fun at many Royal Ascot parties! I will always remember Jim so fondly. His kindness, wittiness, sharp intelligence, extremely good humour, and loyal friendship. My sincere condolences to Helene, Laura and Kate, and the lovely granddaughters whom Jim adored.
